Jinja Ninja 20 Litre Recipe


Brew a Pale Ale following the mash and boil schedules as you normally would for your equipment then follow the recipe and addition schedules below.

Approx ABV: 4%

IBU: 30

Grain Bill:

4kg Pale Malt

500g Wheat Malt

100g Cara malt

Hops:

20g Admiral - (based on 14% Alpha) - Start of Boil

25g Centennial - End of Boil

Adjuncts:

• 450g of Grated Fresh Root Ginger - add 150g of this at the start of the boil and the remaining 300g at the end of the boil (make sure you don't transfer the ginger to the fermenter).

• 1/2 tsp Chilli Flakes - add at the start of the boil (this should be used with caution, too much will ruin the batch).

• 25g Lemon Zest - add this at the end of the boil.

Yeast:

Ferment with 20g of your favourite ale yeast, we use US 05.
